Chinese Language Center (CLC)

Chinese Language centre was established in 1992 and is located in the International Building on the campus of NCCU. Our teachers must hold either a degree of Chinese language education or certification issued by the Ministry of Education of ROC and are mostly well experienced with 5-25 years in teaching. All our classrooms are equipped with multimedia learning devices.

Specifically, our centre's students consist of international or exchange Programs at NCCU, foreigners and emigrants. To make sure every student gets enough attention and time to practice in class, all classes are small size and we currently achieved a teacher-pupil ratio of 1:8.

Besides formal language classes, we also plan off-campus activities in multiple aspects for free. To make sure our students do not only learn Mandarin but also have an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture.

Students are welcome to all facilities and buildings and formal students of NCCU, including a computer centre, stadium, swimming pool, tennis fields, gym and all libraries. Please always bring your student ID with you and some of the venues that required extra fees.
