In order to comply with the government’s New Southbound Policy, National Chengchi University established an NCCU Overseas Office in Thailand (Bangkok) on December 21, 2019, which becomes the very first overseas student recruitment office of National Chengchi University and sets a brand new milestone for the exchange of higher education between Taiwan and Thailand.

In addition to promoting NCCU and offering admission information to Thai students, the office also provides exchange support and crisis management activities to Taiwanese students in Thailand. Looking forward to the future, the Thai Office of NCCU will continue to promote higher education exchanges between Thailand and National Chengchi University, as well as deepen its relationship with local partnership universities. At the same time, the Thai Office will also expand its horizons to neighbouring Indochina Peninsula countries, such as Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, etc. Although the National Chengchi University Overseas Office in Indonesia has not yet physically opened, it has already set up a dedicated service line and social media to serve the needs of the locals. The NCCU alumna, Ms Chiao-Feng Yuan, a local native of Indonesia herself, will provide admission consultations for those who are interested in studying at NCCU.

Soon, NCCU looking forward to further Opening the Official Overseas Office in Vietnam and India to establish further a diverse and multi-faceted partnership with ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and South Asian countries.
